Another attempt to make some kind of sense of what's going on east of the Dniester. Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan come in for special attention.

Right-wing nutcasts: Part I

I love right-wing talk radio - it's a mad, mad, mad world!

Here's an example, from the Jackie Mason podcast. Yes, that Jackie Mason, the hugely unfunny comedian.

Guest: John LeBoutillier, former NY Congressman

JlB: "I hate Hilary. I think she's the anti-Christ. I think she's the worst thing on the planet."

JM: "[Bill Clinton] is the worst criminal in the Presidency probably in the history of this country."

Wow! Jimmy Carter must be thankful, now that Mason has removed the right-wing mark of Cain placed upon the peanut farmer's (and physicist, by the way) brow.

Mr. LeBoutillier: Osama bin Laden, Hugo Chavez, Mahmud Ahmeddinajad, Vlad Putin, etc. send you a big "thanks" too.

This exchange came in the same podcast when the weird Mr. Mason claimed that anyone working for stricter gun control in the U.S. is complicit in the murder of children. The logic is: the more guns there are on campus, the less children will die. Sure, Jackie.
